About Michael Gonzalez

As part of my move from NJ Parks Services to Education, I am developing the necessary skills in instructional design, classroom management, learning theory and literacy. I am a certified Substitute Teacher and certified Social Studies Teacher. I am currently working to further enhance my teaching portfolio. I have experience teaching Math and Social Studies classes in 5th and 6th grade, as well as, long term experience in teaching Art; this ranges from Kindergarten to Grade 6. I engage in professional reflection to promote the development of effective teaching, always striving to better my skills as an educator.I have helped coordinate after school functions and operations for staff for the Elementary schools.Implement classroom management strategies which foster a positive learning environment.
