Background
About Michael Grantson
With over 18 years of experience spanning telecommunications, financial inclusion, fintech, digital transformation, and commercial leadership, I bring a results-driven approach to business growth and innovation. My expertise includes driving revenue acceleration, leading high-performing teams, and delivering strategic initiatives across Africa's dynamic markets. I have a strong track record of building and scaling sustainable business models, optimizing operations, and forging impactful public-private partnerships. Beyond the boardroom, I am deeply committed to community development, particularly in nurturing the potential of children. For the past 17 years, I have consistently volunteered my time and expertise each week to support child development initiatives, an extension of my belief in inclusive growth and long-term impact. Outside of work and service, I am a lifelong football enthusiast and an avid supporter of Accra Hearts of Oak and Manchester United, loyal since 1988 and respectively. Football has taught me valuable lessons in teamwork, resilience, and passion, values I carry into every aspect of my professional and personal life.
