About Michael Grau

My professional career has been built around serving others in the accounting and financial services sectors. It is very important for me to work directly with my clients to grow, manage and preserve their wealth, both now and for future generations. I began my financial advisory career with Smith Barney and later joined Wells Fargo Advisors. Prior to this transition, I spent 20 years in the field of Accounting, working for various retail optical and contract packaging and manufacturing companies. In 2020, I joined with my business partners at Wells Fargo in making the decision to form our own companies—Axiom Financial Strategies Group and Axiom Insurance Solutions. We wanted to create a culture-rich team, with the common goal of providing those we serve with access to more strategic options and client-centric solutions. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from the University of Dayton. In order to expand my knowledge and serve clients in a greater capacity, I also earned several designations, including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®). My wife Kimberly and I have two wonderful daughters, Hannah and Madison. Outside the office, you will find me volunteering at Habitat for Humanity and The Community Kitchen in Jeffersonville and supporting several other local charities.
