About Michael Greenstein

I am a recent graduate from the John Molson School of Business with a BComm in finance and have passed the Level II CFA exam. I have achieved a strong academic record while actively participating in extracurriculars, completing multiple internships, and pursuing the CFA designation. I am passionate about capital markets and am actively seeking new graduate opportunities. Over the Summer and Winter 2024 semesters, I interned at PSP Investments as a Transversal Risk Analyst. In this role, I contributed to the firm’s portfolio-wide VaR calculation by producing baskets of public securities that reflect the risk profiles of PSP’s private investments. Through this experience, I have developed a strong understanding of the unique characteristics of investments across asset classes and refined my financial research skills. Additionally, I recently completed my mandate as a Fund Manager in the Sustainable Investment Practicum, a competitive investment program sponsored by Manulife Investment Management. In this role, I conducted in-depth equity research, built financial models, assessed the materiality of ESG risks on companies’ long-term value, and pitched stocks to Manulife’s investment committee. Through this experience, I sharpened my financial modelling and equity research abilities. Across my professional experiences, my collaboration, communication and organizational skills have enabled me to succeed. I am eager to learn and am confident in my ability to succeed in any work environment.
