About Michael Grimaldi

Extensive, senior-level experience in a wide variety of public relations specialties, including media relations, strategic communications, issues management, crisis communications, marketing communications and corporate and institutional marketplace positioning. Previously, a public relations professional at multifaceted, locally owned marketing communications firms; and a newspaper journalist in multiple roles ranging from reporter-photographer at a community weekly to assistant business editor at a major metropolitan daily. Professional goal: Influence the attitudes and behaviors of people important to those whom I serve; communicate truthfully, openly and effectively for the benefit of the community, the nation and the world. In the community, volunteer for organizations focused on youth and higher education. Specialties: Media relations, strategic communications consultation, traditional and social media relations, issues management and crisis communications. P.S. Service to community is important to me, fostered by my education and the most satisfying experiences of my vocation. My first job after college was service via active duty as a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve. After a very rewarding communications career in journalism and public relations, I'm back in service via employment at the water utility owned by my hometown. The journey continues.
