About Michael Grogan

I am an Operations Leader with broad and extensive international experience. I started my career in Infant Formula manufacturing with Abbott and Wyeth and held multiple site operations roles. I also had a period leading the manufacture of Baileys Irish Cream and supporting the development of new products such as Sheridans. My Pharmaceutical journey began with Teva, and I had the opportunity with Teva, Actavis, Shire, Recro, Vertex and Huyabio to undertake multiple roles with Global responsibility including the EU, UK, US, Japan, Australia, China, other-Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. From a background in Operations and Supply Chain, I have led the development and implementation of Global Supply Chains focusing on tax efficiency, global trade compliance and supply chain resilience. I have been Director, Managing Director and General Manager of a number of pharmaceutical subsidiaries in Ireland, Malta, and Iceland. I am experienced across a range of pharmaceutical technologies, outsourcing of production operations, integration of acquisitions, supply chain management, organizational design, and strategic planning. I recently completed the Financial Times Academy Non-Executive Director Diploma to compliment my executive experience and to add to my Degree in Industrial Engineering, MBA and other qualifications in Finance and Management.
