I work at Pasco Hernando State College as the College Store Manager at the Porter Campus location in Wesley Chapel. Before that, I was hired at PHSC in 2010 as the full-time Store Associate at the Spring Hill Campus before being promoted in November 2013. For my first job, I was hired in May 2007 at Walmart as an Electronics Sales Associate, then went from an ESA to Overnight Inventory Management. I worked at Walmart until September 2010, followed by the job at PHSC. As College Store Manager, my duties are: 1. Schedules staffing of full-time, part-time, and temporary personnel. Trains and supervises campus College Store personnel. Responsible and accountable for all cashiering duties and preparation of nightly reports in accordance with the Cashier Procedures Manual and WinPrism, including data entry to the College’s Financial Records System (CFRS). Responsible for issuing electronic book vouchers to students during registration, as requested by the Financial Aid Office. Oversees and is responsible for making bank deposits, obtaining deposit receipts, and forwarding the receipts to the Financial Services Office. Responsible for processing registration related fee payments and coordinating textbook and content, as well as supply requirements with the District Textbook Manager and College Store Supervisor (WC) for the Law Enforcement and Corrections programs. Recommends purchases and maintains College Store inventories in coordination with the District Textbook Manager and College Store Supervisor (West Campus). Responsible for sending, receiving, and notifying campus-wide recipients of United Parcel Service, FedEx or other such deliveries. Insures that all College Store staff provide the highest level of quality customer service. Performs fiscal year-end inventory and prepares related reports as required to support preparation of the Annual Financial Report and the year-end audit. Performs other duties as assigned.
