Changing Directions: In my previous professional journey, I thrived as a UI/UX designer with a passion for promoting health and wellness. Collaborating with exceptional teams, I had the privilege of transforming a multitude of mobile applications into vibrant realities. My extensive experience encompasses corporate health research, cutting-edge tech design, and empowering individuals through health coaching. ‍ Cooking Up a Storm in FACS Class: My Family and Consumer Science classes aren’t just about the techniques, but the tales and ties that food brings into our lives. Sowing Seeds in Education: Whether it’s drawing inspiration from my enriching experiences in California, delving into the fascinating realms of behavioral modification and habit theory with Dr. BJ Fogg, or infusing my classes with captivating anecdotes from co-authoring “21 Habits: A Wellness Survival Guide”, my aim is to craft an educational tapestry that is abundant, dynamic, and deeply grounded in real-world wisdom. Work & Experiences: My previous experiences have greatly influenced my strong desire to assist students in finding their life's purpose. Whether it was my role as a leader in digital content creation in the government contracting space or my experience coaching and guiding over individuals in the corporate wellness space, each step of my journey has focused on personal development, acquiring knowledge, and now, passing down that wisdom to the next generation.
