About Michael Guerra

As the Director of Safety and Security at Greenwich House, I oversaw the protection of people, property, and assets across multiple sites and programs. I have more than 10 years of experience in hospitality safety and security management, as well as a foundation of six years of law enforcement in the United States Air Force. My core competencies include leadership, critical thinking, budgeting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. I am skilled at implementing and leading intensive training programs to increase safety, profit, and productivity. I am also adept at collaborating and communicating with all levels of personnel, developing and motivating teams, and remaining calm under pressure. My mission is to provide a safe and secure environment for the staff, clients, and visitors of Greenwich House, a nonprofit organization that offers arts and education programs, health and wellness services, and social services to the community.
