About Michael Gumm

As a dedicated enrollment manager, I have constructed innovative strategies to surpass goals, while leading others through my positive energy. My drive to target weakness and fix complacency is my driving force. My expectation is that every member of my staff realizes the high potency and power, within to be the pivotal leader to effect change. In the pursuit of change, lies the undiscoverable that no one sees. Once tapped, it’s about formalizing strategies and offering high levels of criticism to fine tune that which was never thought of before. This is innovation! My life’s work is that if service. The privilege of assisting families and students navigate the admission process, understanding operational CRM, and developing marketing strategies is the sum of my work. Parallel with enrollment practice and procedures, I have been very successful in fundraising and volunteer management. My work is often comprised of lifting Men of Color and establishing opportunities for those who are often marginalized or non-dominant cultural fragmented. As a Sociologist, my work consist of understanding group dynamics and interactions. My interest lies on the internal conversations of Conflict Theory, Marxism and CRT- Critical Race Theory calling out racial oppression and systemic racism and bias.
