About Michael Habib

I am a member of Jones Foster’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, representing businesses and individuals in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters. I gained valuable insight into the state and federal court system upon completion of three judicial clerkships. My experience includes working as a Staff Attorney to Justice C. Alan Lawson of the Florida Supreme Court; as a federal Pro Se Law Clerk to Chief Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga and Judges Beth F. Bloom, Robert N. Scola, Jr, Robin L. Rosenberg, Aileen M. Cannon, and Kenneth A. Marra; and most recently as a Judicial Law Clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Marta F. Elfenbein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. I received my J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and went on to earn a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Global Health Law and a Certificate in U.S. Health Law from Georgetown University Law Center where I was a Global Health Scholar. During my law school studies, I served as a constitutional law research and teaching assistant and as president of the Middle Eastern Law Student Association.
