About Michael Hall
I have been a Waldorf teacher for 36 years, a class teacher for 27 of them, taking three classes through to 8th grade graduation, and filling in where needed for four more. I have taught music throughout the school for almost all of those years also, and also for one year in high school. I have taught singing and music in teacher trainings for several years, and other teacher training classes as Assistant Director for one year. I served as Faculty Coordinator (advising faculty, hiring, mentoring, evaluation) for three years in a charter Waldorf school. I have extensive experience on the College of Teachers, and as a board member representing the faculty, and other administrative experience in crisis management. I have six children who have all attended Waldorf schools. Waldorf Education has been my calling and my passion. I am now retiring, but want to be available and useful where possible. I am also a composer (mostly for children), a poet and writer, and have an endless appetite for learning.
