About Michael Hammerton

In my short career as a retail manager, I hit the ground running and quickly climbed the ladder at my company. I have had roles in data entry, and office administration, but once I joined the family at Music & Arts, the attention to detail, communication skills and thoroughness I learned in those positions came to together and poised me for success. I quickly moved myself into management roles and thrived by motivating my teams to success in their roles. I often surprised myself with just how capable I was, and I constantly reinforce those same feelings to myself as I take on new responsibilities and new challenges. I thrive in new situations and actively seek to put myself in uncomfortable situations as I find I grow the fastest there. I never shy away from a challenge and look to achieve more. I am very open to new ideas, experiences and opportunities. My career is just beginning, and with so much time left, I am excited to see just how far my achievements and successes can reach.
