About Michael Hardisty
I am a scientist at one of Canada's most innovative hospitals. My translational research is in biomedical engineering; my research questions are related to the spine, biomechanics of bone, and smart medical technology development. I develop medical technology and understanding to solve clinical problems in surgery using a combined computational and experimental approach. My works makes particular use of large data sets (both clinical and experimental) and machine learning. I am always looking for collaborators, currently I collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, health professionals and commercial partners.
