About Michael Harrington

I am a freshman majoring in Finance and Accounting at Fordham Gabelli School with 3.8 GPA. On campus I am active in the Fordham value investing club as well as a member in the Fordham finance society. In the value investing club, members garner the ability to find the intrinsic value of a security in order to create an investment decision. Members, also learn about numerous investing strategies. In the finance society, members learn about different financial markets and stay up to date on the news affecting an array of industries. My work experience includes nearly three years at Joey's Pizza where I was able to garner numerous skills such as customer service, multitasking, teamwork, and communication. During my senior year of high school, I also participated as a teacher assistant for the chemistry department. Through this role I garnered numerous skills such as leadership, time management, and patience. I am seeking a internship in the finance and accounting industry.
