Experienced lawyer and leader with a focus on regulatory compliance, regulatory implementation and change management. Over two decades of experience in financial and regulatory services, including 15 years at Deutsche Bank as Director and Associate General Counsel, managing teams providing legal support to the repackaging and structured credit businesses, and overseeing the implementation of regulatory change in both the investment bank and asset management business. This experience also encompasses five years of legal consultancy supporting various banks' regulatory change initiatives, including, particularly, the shift from IBORs to RFRs in both derivatives and structured lending. Current Acting General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Astra Asset Management UK Limited, responsible for all aspects of compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting, supervision of the investor relations team and the public-side asset management business, as well as the private-side structured finance and asset-backed lending business. Expert in complex structured finance transactions, and a leader with the ability to manage a global team and global projects, briefing senior management and regulators in multiple jurisdictions.
