I am a Principal Talent Acquisition Consultant, Team Lead and Recruitment Trainer for GuruLink. GuruLink is an organization that is engaged by some of the Top Tier IT departments in Canada and the US to provide elite level IT staffing consultancy. Our clients include award winning employers ranging from Top Fortune 500 companies, established and successful mid-size firms, and many of the fastest growing and “Best-Funded” Start-up companies in the GTA, across Canada and Silicon Valley. One thing our clients all have in common is that they have a reputation for and expectation of hiring only top level talent. My role is to build relationships with technology gurus, understand and map their career objectives, and connect them at the right time with the unique opportunities via our network of innovative and generally awesome clients. When I am not connecting with elite professionals, I am shaping the next generation of GuruLink Recruiters and Account Managers. As a Team Lead I am responsible for mentoring 2-4 recruiters and assisting them with their own professional development. Working as the GuruLink Recruitment Trainer I am responsible for recruiting, on-boarding and training new Recruiters and Account Managers who join our GuruLink family. In essence, I am a Talent Acquisition Guru who specializes in placing the "cream of the crop" of IT professionals with some of the most recognized and successful organizations in North America while also contributing to the future success of GuruLink by leading/training the "next generation" of Recruiters and Account Managers. My specialties include: Sourcing, Managing Staffing, Training/mentoring team members, Team-building, Cold-calling, Account/Client management, Organizational development, Strategic planning, New business development and Grant Administration.
