About Michael Hatch

Michael Hatch is a Managing Director and Private Wealth Manager within Merrill Private Wealth Management. Michael works with a limited number of ultra-high-net-worth clients, helping them streamline the complexities that significant wealth can entail. He has extensive experience advising individuals, families, family offices, closely-held family businesses, and foundations. Michael has deep experience working with an accomplished clientele. Prior to joining Merrill, he was a Director with Citi Private Bank and a Vice President with J.P. Morgan Private Bank, both in Seattle. He began his career as a Financial Analyst with Goldman Sachs in New York, before returning to his roots to establish the firm's Seattle office. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, has completed advanced coursework at the London School of Economics, and is a graduate of the Lakeside School in Seattle. Michael is very active in the community. He is a trustee of the Seattle Symphony, trustee of the Henry Art Gallery, an advisor to The Film School, and an active member of the Lakeside School Alumni Association. Michael currently serves as a trustee of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Foundation. Previously, he served as co-founder of the Pacific Northwest Ballet's Young Patrons Group; trustee of Patrons of Northwest Civic, Cultural and Charitable Organizations (PONCHO); Trustee of Intiman Theatre; and Trustee of Seattle Children's Theatre.
