About Michael Henderson

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience working at the intersection of human behavior, relationships, and systems. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals, couples, and families in navigating complex challenges, while also teaching and mentoring graduate students entering the field.I also completed a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in January 2026, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Through earning this graduate degree, I gained skills in Human Resources and leadership related to employee engagement and retention.What has become increasingly clear to me is that the same principles that drive change in individuals—awareness, communication, and intentional action—also drive success within organizations.I am currently completing an MBA and a Doctorate in Behavioral Health. This combination has expanded my focus beyond clinical work into leadership, organizational strategy, and systems-level thinking.My work now centers on integrating behavioral health with organizational development. I am particularly interested in helping organizations improve performance, strengthen culture, and support employee well-being through leadership, strategy, and human-centered approaches.I bring a unique perspective that combines clinical insight with business strategy, allowing me to approach challenges through both human and organizational lenses.As I continue to grow professionally, I am focused on opportunities in consulting, leadership, and integrated care that enable me to help individuals and organizations perform at their best.I am open to opportunities in healthcare leadership, consulting, and organizational development that intersect behavioral health and business strategy.
