Summary Michael is a Chartered Builder with over 38 years’ experience in the industry, 5 years as strategic consultant for multiple clients, 20 years’ client side implementing strategic and aspirational delivery of capital refurbishment projects, brand development and project monitoring roles within the hotel and leisure industry and 12 years’ commercial experience working in the contracting industry. He specializes in project delivery, asset reviews, lease compliance activities, strategic planning, new brand development, value engineered refurbishment, budgetary control, operator liaison, change management and feasibility studies. Michael has held senior positions at several hotel groups, most recently 11 ½ years, as Group Project Manager for glh Hotels where he was responsible for delivery of the major capital investment programme across five brands. Michael has worked on many of the iconic and high profile 4* luxury end of London’s hotel portfolio. Michael now provides Strategic Project Management services across a variety of sectors, leading teams and providing invaluable experience and project delivery skills.
