About Michael Henry

For as long as I can remember, I've been passionate about stories and storytelling. I'm drawn to pieces of art and entertainment that spark my imagination and transport me to another world. My love of stories and film led me to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Electronic Media at American University. My graduate education gave me the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of filmmaking and realize my particular affinity for screenwriting.Since relocating to Los Angeles, I have worked as both a post-production intern and office manager. I dream big but take the mindset that no task is too small. I'm grateful to have gained professional experience in a variety of areas, including post-production preparation, script coverage, and administrative skills. My versatility, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn enable me to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities quickly. Both my education and professional experience have given me a strong foundation to build upon as I continue to push forward in the entertainment industry.Outside of my professional and creative pursuits, I'm an avid comic book fan and lover of animation. I enjoy expressing my ideas and opinions on the entertainment I consume through editorials and video essays.
