Since I joined the risk management and insurance community in 1983, my desire is to work closely with my commercial clients in order to foster an environment in which they can effectively manage their company's risk exposures through identification, mitigation and transfer of risk. In so doing, I help my clients protect their balance sheets from unexpected financial disasters. Most of my 30 plus years of success are a result of the fact that "I care"!My personal experience as an insurance consultant and broker in Austin dates back to 1983. Prior to joining Higginbotham in 2009, I have operated as the owner of my own insurance agency, principal and President of a large independent Austin insurance agency and the Austin branch leader of one of the largest publicly traded insurance brokerages in the US.I have remained active in serving Austin's youth community for many years through membership and leadership duties with the YMCA of Austin and the Austin Optimist Club.My personal passions include staying physically fit and playing golf.Specialties include:Non Profit OrganizationsHigh Technology and Biotech CompaniesHealthcare OrganizationsReal Estate PortfoliosConstruction
