Hi, I’m Michael (Mikey) Herring, a driven Biochemistry student at the University of Florida with a passion for healthcare, leadership, and personal growth. My experiences range from hands-on clinical work as a certified phlebotomist to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment as a Desk Assistant for UF Housing. These roles have sharpened my skills in communication, conflict resolution, and adaptability. With 160 hours of clinical hospital experience and certifications in phlebotomy and Basic Life Support (BLS), I’m dedicated to bridging scientific knowledge with compassionate patient care. Beyond academics, I actively contribute to my community as a member of Circle K International, HOSA, and the UF Chemistry Club. I thrive in collaborative environments and excel at balancing responsibilities with precision and attention to detail.
