About Michael Herrmann

I bring over 24 years of distinguished military service and experience covering a wide range of skills and a diverse background of strategic, operational and tactical competencies. My background includes years of work within military law enforcement, physical security, training and evaluation and compliance inspection. I have led and managed large operational divisions, strategic planning events, and multi-agency force-on-force exercises with over 300 subordinate personnel. Some of my key leadership duties and responsibilities include the following- Strategic and operational planning, logistical movement and execution of multi-agency large scale force-on-force events involving over 400 personnel- Logistics division responsible for the $228K annual budget, as well as $8.7M in equipment, weapons, munitions and vehicle fleet for an entire operational unit- Compliance and evaluation section responsible for over 100 checklists encompassing 4,500 individual task items- Operations for a 250 person law enforcement/base security unit managing daily activities protecting over personnel and over $8.5B in resources- The only Phoenix Raven hub in Europe, coordinating with strategic level planners providing security teams for transit aircraft at austere locations in Europe, Africa and Asia. I have been a leader at the strategic, operational and tactical level of involvement with a proven record of dedication throughout my entire military career achieving only the highest comments and performance ratings. My leadership style focuses on communication, building trust, empowering subordinates and establishing control measures to ensure all goals are exceeded. I have a strong background in managing human capital, strategic security policy planning and development, operations management experience, and execution of tactical physical security plans and procedures.
