About Michael Hettinger

For over 11 years, I have been committed to providing the highest level of service for my clients at Merrill while working with William G. Bulick, Scott E. Covitz and Brendan McCauley. Our team of partners at Covitz, Hettinger, McCauley, Bulick & Associates will personalize and set planning targets for long-term financial goals, including retirement, college savings, and transitioning between careers, along with the shorter term requirements, such as how to pay for living expenses, taxes, and any/all other current and future expenses or financial goals. I strive to establish strong relationships and provide unparalleled care to each unique client while designing tailored strategies to help meet each clients' needs. I hold the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠, CRPC® designation. I work to provide the confidence our clients need to face major life events and to handle financial challenges that arise along the path to retirement. As an Eagle Scout and an active board member of the Bergen Community College Alumni Network, I enjoy supporting my local community and its residents.
