Michael Hilker is Market Solutions Advisor for the Greater Chicago/Wisconsin Market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, he works closely with market leadership and credit partners to develop and drive the market credit strategy. He works with enterprise credit and risk to identify and analyze credit opportunities quickly and advise Bankers on credit solutions by providing general industry knowledge, credit expertise, product and process management, sales, and client experience support. Michael also serves as Senior Vice President of the ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Solutions Group for the Midwest Region. ESOP Solutions is focused on the origination and execution of ownership succession strategies, with an emphasis on employee ownership as a strategic exit alternative. His team delivers tailored leveraged finance and wealth management solutions to owners of privately-held businesses. He also assists them with understanding ESOP-related issues throughout the lifecycle of an ESOP, including newly established and mature plans. Additionally, Michael is an active member of The ESOP Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership.
