Originally from Columbus, Ohio, attending Bishop Watterson High School and Capital University. A 2004 graduate with a BA in History and Social Sciences. Began coaching and teaching career in Helsinki, Finland in the summer of 2004 working for a Finnish American football team.Returned to Columbus as an assistant football coach at Bishop Watterson, hired as a substitute teacher, and then was promoted to a full-time social studies teacher. Taught history, sociology, and psychology. In the summer of 2009 moved to Chicago to pursue a Masters in Education from North Park University, and began coaching football as a graduate assistant. Currently working for Oakton College as an Athletic Academic Advisor and Compliance Specialist.
