Lead, coach, and mentor all internal and external project team members to achieve the project deliverables • Work on the business and future opportunities within the district • Conduct interviews for new talent • Provide direction and oversight to the project team • Oversee career development of team members in line with corporate strategy • Develop and/or manage annual performance reviews and regular check-ins. • Assess needs in conjunction with the team and implement training, coaching, mentoring • Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration within and across teams • Promote, align with, and add value to the corporate strategic vision • Determine all resources required to complete assigned projects by the project commitments • Guide the team in the structure and delivery of project bids, budgeting, and other pre-construction services • Maintain a current understanding of the external market trends, economic influences • Engage in business development activities within existing and new client bases • Represent the company externally to the marketplace • Manage the client relationship to ensure a great experience and client retention • Conduct stakeholder meetings and forums to solicit feedback, input, and expectations • Communicate regularly with clients to assess their needs and expectations • Liaise with client representatives, consultant representatives, subcontractors, and project stakeholders • Familiarize the project team with the terms of the proposal and project contract • Review and provide input on all draft subcontracts prior to next level review and final execution • Ensure all project management systems are adhered to by the project team • Align Project Execution Plan with the core ideology • Support a safety culture that aligns with corporate strategies and core values • Support Project End Book and advise on areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings • Conduct risk analyses, and manage risk registers • Ensure project close-out is completed within the agreed timeline, and to the satisfaction of the client • Establish and deliver mechanisms for tracking project progress and reporting to stakeholders • Review all project forecasts to ensure the project net target margin is achieved or exceeded • Closely monitor the activities and billing of third-party workers, such as consultants, contractors, and other specialists • Member of IPDA, CHES, UDI, SICA, CDBI • Working within the different contracts: CCDC5A/B, CCDC2, CCDC14, CCDC30 (IPD) etc.
