About Michael Hirsch

Patterns are fascinating, especially patterns that tell stories. I am a USC Marshall graduate with a passion for data analysis and an interest in managing and marketing products. During my time at USC I gained exposure to data analytics tools as well as the experience of marketing an organization to the rest of the campus population. These experiences have developed my interest in data analysis with regard to product management. I have a drive to fully explore markets – new and existing – to gain insights into what makes those markets work the way they do, what drives them, and what would gain their attention. Using the data analytic tools that I learned in the classroom, as well as social media to drive consumer engagement, I want to help create and manage something that’ll last a lifetime! Skillset: Programming languages: Java, C++, C# Market research methods: focus groups, surveys, Google analytics, social media analytics Data analytics tools: Tableau, SPSS, JMP, SAS, Excel (VLookup and Pivot Tables) Modeling: Linear regression, decision trees, Kmeans, A/B testing, multiple regression, confidence interval calculation In my spare time, I love to play guitar, play video games, and write stories!
