Business law with a strong emphasis on (i) emerging technology companies and (ii) entering foreign markets, and cross border structures and transactions. Indepth experience as senior counsel to major corporations and as outside general counsel to small and medium sized companies. Have lived and worked in Australasia, Europe and the United States and have multi-faceted experience in most countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, as well as experience handling projects in Latin America and Africa. Significant portion of assignments involve technology acquisition and development, including licensing, collaborations, joint ventures and other forms of strategic alliance. Another significant portion of assignments involve planning for and entering international markets, including companies entering United States markets and American companies going abroad. Strong working relationships with research and development groups, including university spinoffs. Seen by many clients as an integral part of the executive team and recognized for having a realistic, sustainable business approach to negotiation and problem solving.
