About Michael Holah

With a career spanning more than 15 years, Michael Holah was one of the first architects in Melbourne to make the move from studio-based practice to an in-house position in the development sector. It is this pioneering spirit, paired with an innate need to explore innovations in architecture and interior design, that firmly places Michael at the forefront of the industry. Michael’s holds an Associate Diploma in Architectural Drafting from Holmesglen and has completed both a Bachelor Degree and a Masters in Architecture at RMIT. Prior to joining Pace in 2010, Michael worked in the Melbourne architecture community during the era of extraordinary growth in multi-residential and mixed-use developments. It was here that his real passion for architecture and development was realised. Over the course of his career, Michael has conceptualised and delivered some of Melbourne’s most unique multi-residential and mixed-use buildings. Having spent most of this time within the Pace Development Group family, Michael has worked with some of the most experienced design talent in the industry, as well as collaborating with many inspiring external architects and joint venture partners. As Pace’s Head of Architecture, Michael is a passionate believer in Pace’s ‘one stop shop approach’ which allows the company to control the design outcome throughout every step of the development cycle. Michael finds it hugely rewarding to oversee a project from conceptualisation to realisation and its ultimate unveiling to the broader Melbourne community.
