About Michael Hole

I spent 9 years in the British construction industry, through the positions of Scaffolder / site foreman / offshore installations foreman / Health and Safety Officer and finally Contracts Manager for a large scaffolding company with multiple branches in the UK. The 2008 housing bubble destroyed the company I worked for, so I decided it was a good time to see the world. I travelled around Europe, South-East Asia and Australia for a while, doing different jobs here and there, more for the experience than the money. I found that I liked Thailand as a base, so I took a job with CLBS, so that I could stay a while. I did outsourced secretarial work for a couple of years before I was offered a position creating training content. Pretty soon I was given control of the corporate Learning Management Systems (edX initially, and now LMS365), which I continue to manage, and create content for. I now manage over 1300 users in the LMS, and my team and I have written and produced dozens of courses on topics such as effective communication, leadership and management, specifics of the industries we work with, as well as many software tutorials for our different in-house software.
