Michael D. Hood, CLU®, ChFC®, AEP®, CASL®, RICP® is the Founder and President of Hood Financial, LLC, a family owned, fee-based, financial services firm providing independent and comprehensive retirement planning and investment advisory services. Since 1986, Mike has specialized in helping pre-retirees and retirees create, maintain, and enjoy a worry-free retirement by using proven strategies designed to- Safely increase and guarantee income - Protect assets - Reduce taxes - Protect against catastrophic health care expenses - Simplify finances - Create and leave a meaningful legacy. “My biggest sense of accomplishment comes from knowing how many clients I’ve been able to help over the years and the difference that’s made in their lives. My dad was a doctor, and as a fiduciary who also has a mandate to act in his client’s best interests, I liken my role as a financial adviser to that of a doctor; following the tenants of the Hippocratic Oath to ‘first, do no harm’.” Mike puts a high priority on giving clients his best and is fully committed to serving them and their families - for life.
