Background
About Michael Hosch
While successfully completing my master's degree in architecture at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, I became aware of the immense responsibility and relevance that architects, planners and designers have towards society in order to create a sustainable, integral and beneficial built environment for the future. In my function as Contest Captain of Team RoofKIT, we were able to set the tone in the Solar Decathlon Europe 21/22 with the convincing concept of a sustainable roof extension. Since then, we have proudly presented our idea and represented RoofKIT at various conferences and platforms. In my master's thesis, I focused on the integration and role of energy storage systems in a future infrastructure landscape. Architecture always represents an intervention or a change in the existing, and requires approval and acceptance. I am dedicated to continuing my contribution to the creation of sustainable and innovative architecture in my future work.
