About Michael Hutchins

I have been in the Cannabis Industry for 5 years and have been at Choice Labs in Jackson MI since February of 2020. Before that I worked at The Haven Smoke Shop in Lansing, as a Team Trainer My favorite experience in the industry so far has been getting to watch individuals flourish in their roles. A lot of the workforce expects a certain amount of experience for more advance roles and it's difficult to gain that experience. The Cannabis Industry, being as new as it is, has given some of the younger generation a chance to shine in roles they wouldn't normally have the resume for. I've gotten to see a handful of extremely gifted young individuals progress in their careers and flourish in their lives! Using my degree in Actuarial Science, I was able to create a proprietary Inventory Tracking Software that we have used to revolutionize our Inventory and Fulfillment processes. This system allows us to pivot and maintain efficacy while handling massive volumes of incoming orders. I have also been involved with Shipping, Accounting, Marketing, Sales, and Sales Support while at Choice. I assist other department heads with formulaic challenges on our companies internal spreadsheets. I also developed and implemented our Forklift Training Program.
