About Michael J. Angers

As a teacher and a coach, I bring the best of coaching into the classroom and the best of the classroom into coaching. Received the NCAA Elite 90 award in 2023 and continue to strive for excellence in academic and athletic pursuits. The summer of 2022 I completed an internship focusing on historical, archaeological, and geographic research as part of a National Endowment for the Humanities research grant for an on campus local history project. This experience allowed me to further develop skills in interdisciplinary research. I also conducted and facilitated guided tours to youth as a part of historical school field trips. I have experience student teaching middle and high school students where I developed and instructed lessons on a variety of historical topics in U.S. and Global History. Throughout my collegiate career, I have been a student-athlete and have been Captain of the Wrestling Team from 2020-2023. I possess excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
