Career Summary Major Project Involvement: • BC Hydro Site C Hydroelectric Power Station – 1200 MW - Role: Commissioning (Engineering Team Lead), Construction Officer • Petronas Town North Sour Gas Plant – Gas Turbine Generator Waste Heat Recovery Unit Expansion - Role: Controls Engineer • Petronas Town North Sour Gas Plant – 2 x 200 MMscfd - Role: Project/Package/Controls Engineer • Bellatrix Alderflats Deep Cut Gas Plant – 2 x 110 MMscfd - Role: Project Engineering Intern • Planned and executed commissioning for a major gas plant (400 MMscfd), discovered and addressed equipment and control systems deficiencies prior to shipment to site. Significantly reduced plant downtime for new equipment and control system tie-in, as well as the extent of on-site troubleshooting during plant commissioning and startup • Provided on-site support to client operations for the successful startup of a 200 MMscfd gas plant • Provided optimization of plant compression systems to maximize production throughput and reliability while minimizing energy consumption • Performed compression and electrical system optimization on a major gas plant, resulted in ~$10 million in savings on project capital expenditure, while retaining similar levels of plant production throughput, availability (verified by third party RAM Study), and operability. Savings equate to ~9% of project AFE • Initiated an alliance between Syntec (Taiwan), and SSZN (Shenzhen, China) to codevelop high precision linear servo motor CNC machines for the consumer electronic manufacturing industry in Shenzhen. Linear servo motors eliminate the need for ball screws, is more precise, operates faster, and improves durability and reliability in comparison to traditional ball screw + rotational servo motor setup • Successfully reduced product lead time of a new linear motor module from one month to less than five days while gaining electrical/controls design and procurement knowledge and resources • As a project engineering intern, assisted with the successful commissioning and startup of a 110 MMscfd deep cut gas plant
