About Michael Johnson

I am dedicated to making my community and work place better for my kids, my wife, and my colleagues. I currently serve as the business development lead for the Midwest for Nikon Metrology's Inspection Service Division (formerly Avonix Imaging). I started my career working with at-risk youth to help them lead a happier, more fulfilled life. Following that, I was afforded an opportunity to travel the US and South America performing inspections in nuclear power generating stations. While this was an amazing career, my new family came first, and I wanted to be as present as possible for my children. I took a role with an APi Group subsidiary, and I worked my way from assistant project manager, to fixed asset manager, and finally to my previous role with the corporate office. All the while, I launched the APi Gives team and sit on the board of directors for the APi Group Foundation. I hold a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from the college of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. When not trying to make changes for the better, I enjoy sport of all varieties, LOVE a deep, rules crunchy board game, and cherish the time with my spouse and little ones.
