About Michael Jones

Went to college for automotive, and Ford MLR training. Found a great shop that I got started at before graduating. Passed all 8 ASE tests for master certification on the first try. Was given the lead technician position at another location for the same business and greatly enjoyed the experience. That company fell on hard times and I decided to try something new at Pete Franklins Best Cars. That situation wasn't right at the time for me and my family. I almost got out of automotive to be able to take care of my property and family. However I found a small shop that didn't quite need me but they gave me a shot. I quickly became the number two technician in a shop of eight performing diagnostics and repairs of all kinds. Left Parkway for understandable reasons and went to Oakes auto to work for my former boss from Pete Franklins, the company was in too much disarray with regards to finding the actual cars to work on. Went to work for Autostart as a master reconditioner and everything was great until they fired my supervisor and I got wind the company was in financial trouble. Decided to try another NAPA Autocare center and went to work for Wornall Automotive as a Master diagnostician. Summer 2018 recertified 4 ASE tests and passed the L1 in 2 hours for all 5 tests.
