About Michael Joyce

I started my career with RBC in May 2004 working in a local branch where I developed experience in all aspects of branch administration and operations before moving onto more challenging opportunities within the front office. Subsequently I progressed into more challenging positions in the business banking area where I have been quite successful servicing my clients' personal and business banking needs as well as growing the portfolio through new client acquisition. Most recently moving into National Office at RBC coaching Senior Account Managers on specific business credit transactions further developing their credit capabilities to provide appropriate financial advice & solutions that fulfill their clients’ business and personal needs, thereby growing revenue and market share for RBC. Complement the coaching provided by the Sr. AMBP’s manager and provide feedback to them on the additional coaching required to develop Sr. AMBPs‘ credit skills, both individually and as a team. Prior to RBC I graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Double Major in Employment Relations/ Human Resources and Political Science whereby I was responsible for leading several Needs Assessment sessions with large organization in the Toronto area, analysing the results and finally presenting solutions. I am keen to further develop my leadership and management skills with an emphasis on specialized (business) platforms and National Office opportunities.
