About Michael Kalutkiewicz

With over 15 years of experience in heath policy and research, I am currently the VP Global Policy at Resoundant, a Mayo Clinic company that develops and commercializes novel MRI technologies. In this role, I lead the development and execution of global advocacy and communication strategies to advance Resoundant's mission of improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs. I also oversee the company's engagement with key stakeholders, such as policymakers, regulators, media, and industry associations. I also am a member of the Mayo Clinic Advanced Medical Imaging Technology lab. Prior to joining Resoundant and Mayo Clinic, I was the founder and principal of belle+preuve public affairs, a consulting firm that specialized in biomedical policy and innovation. I helped clients navigate the complex regulatory and legislative landscape, and advocated for increased federal funding and incentives for research and development. Additionally, I have authored multiple publications on the impact and value of NIH-sponsored research grants and patents in the field of biomedical imaging, which drive both better human health and economic growth. I am passionate about leveraging my skills in strategic communications, policy analysis, and politics to promote and support the advancement of biomedical imaging technologies that can improve the lives of millions of patients around the world.
