About Michael Karmon

With over twelve years of experience in cyber security, I lead and drive the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of cyber security programs for Kimberly-Clark and Chargeflow, two prominent organizations in their respective sectors. My mission is to provide top-notch computer and network security for both companies, while optimizing their spending and efficiency. I leverage my competencies in information security, software project management, network security, and various security standards and frameworks to spearhead and manage high-stakes strategic projects and operations. Some of my achievements include driving CIS framework compliance for Kimberly-Clark, running the global PKI activity, developing and managing the SOC of the Israel Post corp, leading PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 certifications for several clients, and pioneering the digital transformation of Israel's Patent Office. I also hold multiple credentials, such as CISO, DPO, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, PSM-1, PMI, CISA, and ISO 27001LA, that demonstrate my expertise and professionalism in the field of cyber security. My motto is "Realize that before you spend so much on the latest-and-greatest? Cyber-Security is 80% rigorously 'dotting the i-s and crossing the t-s'- know where your data is, who has access to what, read your logs, guard your perimeter, minimize complexity, reduce access to 'need only' and segment your networks.
