About Michael Kinzler

With over six years of experience in the automotive industry, I am a passionate and driven strategic volume planner at Mercedes-Benz AG. I have a strong background in project management, sales forecasting, and product data management, having worked on various projects for Mercedes-Benz and Porsche in the marketing and sales department. My current role involves leading the strategic volume planning for the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLE-class and the iconic Mercedes-Benz S-class, as well as for the region USA-Canada, which is one of the most important markets in the world. I work with cross-functional and multinational teams to plan and influence the strategic direction of the company, and to analyze and monitor the market development and trends in the automotive industry. I am also in charge of the overall automotive forecast for the upcoming years for the total industry volume and the BEV development. My mission is to keep pushing the automotive transformation and to deliver the best products and services to our customers.
