About Michael Kivell

Growing up in Stamford, I have been a lifelong resident of Connecticut. Currently, I am a resident of Easton, where I have lived with my wife and son for almost twenty years. As a member of the Easton Exchange Club and the Easton Lions Club, I enjoy being involved in the Easton community and volunteering my time. Prior to Easton, I lived in Milford, Connecticut for nine years where I continue to moor our sailboat going on the last twenty five years. I earned a B.S. from the University of Connecticut’s School of Business Administration with a major course of study in Real Estate and Urban Economic Studies. I received my MBA from the University of Bridgeport. In addition to working as a yacht broker for two years, much of my work experience has been in procurement and supply chain for small and large companies. I enjoyed my years working in procurement where I handled significant negotiations for a wide variety of purchased goods and services for both large and small firms.
