Michael has 20 plus years in the construction, Demolition & hazardous materials remediation fields as an Operating Engineer with Local 3 and 474 Michael has experience in Management, field supervision & Forman. Currently employed as overhead crane operator with & Certified fork lift operator at Plant Vogtle 3 & 4 construction site ( May 2016 ) Michael is proud to be apart of such an important project and looks forward to seeing it through to completion. One of Michaels jobs that he was very proud to be apart of was after a devastating wild fire in 2007 in South Lake Tahoe CA. where 243 homes were destroyed. Michael was Foreman in charge of 90 union workers to remediate this area before the winter snows. Michael met many of the residents from the area and was part of fund raisers to help the less fortunate from this area. Michael proud to work with contractor A.J. Diani to complete this project within the time frame allotted. Michael Started his construction career with R.B. Construction & L&B Environmental as Transportation manager of Hazardous Waste & soon after moved into more of an Operational role for this contractor. 2006 Michael joined the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 3
