Born and raised in Namibia, my culinary and hospitality journey began at a young age of 16. As Marco Pierre White once said: “Every great chef has something in common – A Mother that taught them how to cook” Having studied Hospitality Management and Culinary science at the prestigious Cape Town Hotel School (South Africa), my vision was to explore the world of culinary and hospitality. This lead me to Europe where I spent the best of 20 years developing my cooking and management skills in various Hotels and Restaurants. Europe gave me the backbone and inspiration for cooking, managing people and also the appreciation for culture, seasonality and local ingredients. Specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, especially fish and seafood, with fundamental classic French cooking techniques, I aim to inspire, develop, share and elevate every kitchen team and dining experience.
