I went back to work after enjoying early retirement and being a "stay-at-home" Dad to my daughter. I have been working at Beatty Lumber since 2015 and am enjoying being at a small business and seeing firsthand all the challenges it faces. My lengthy career has provided experience in Credit Management, Budgeting, Customer Service and recently Inventory Accounting. I had solid achievements in all positions held at Mobil Oil, and then ExxonMobil. It was hard to be retired; I got bored and, strangely enough, guilty about not doing anything "productive". Now, thanks to Beatty, I am productive again, and earning some extra spending money.
