About Michael Kollmorgen

I'm an Educator, Musician, Opera singer, and Father. Each job has taught me something new along the way. I've served as a Teacher, Administrator, Grade-level administrator, Fine arts Lead, Intercultural Committee Lead, District Curriculum writer, and Professional Development Presenter. I've been fortunate enough to work and learn alongside some wonderful professionals on my journey. I look forward to meeting and learning from many more. As an Educator & Musician, and I've been fortunate enough to experience many different facets of both worlds. One common denominator between both of them is learning. Whether it's learning a new method to teach or learning a new piece of music, they both make us stop and think, analyze, and use all of the knowledge that we've learned to help decipher the matter in question. The learning doesn't stop outside the classroom, we continue to learn as we grow. Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” I so strongly believe in his words as we should spend every second continuing to grow and expand our minds to new things as if there is no tomorrow.
