About Michael Kristensen

With two decades of experience as an educator and project manager within high school and secondary school settings, I have developed strong leadership and organizational skills, along with extensive experience in fostering communities, nurturing human relationships, and managing diverse projects. Human Relations: Over the course of twenty years as an educator, I have successfully cultivated trusting relationships and created a safe environment for a wide range of young individuals, each with their unique backgrounds and challenges. I take pride in being a supportive adult figure, readily available to lend a listening ear and offer comfort. Additionally, within the context of high school administration, I have organized community events such as communal singing and dining for local residents, particularly focusing on senior citizens. Currently, I serve as the chairman of a newly established section of a house association, where I contribute to the organization and facilitation of social activities, fostering a sense of community within the residents' association. Financial Management and Human Resources: Having served as a department head and acting principal, I have managed budget responsibilities, scheduling, and staff coordination. These experiences have strengthened my abilities in team coordination and efficient resource allocation. Project Management: With a passion for and professional background in music and theater, I have led a diverse array of shows and theatrical productions. Each endeavor required me to unite a diverse group with varying roles and perspectives to work towards a common goal, always under tight deadlines. Consequently, I possess substantial experience in project planning, including the development of project and timeline schedules. I am looking for an opportunity to leverage my skills and expertise to make a meaningful impact.
