About Michael Krumm

What brought me there where I am now is a lifelong curiosity about imaging - the drive to uncover what’s hidden beneath the surface and transform invisible structures into meaningful knowledge. Over the past 20 years, this passion has guided my work in X-ray computed tomography and led me to lead R&D teams developing innovative imaging solutions. My vision is to push humanity forward by advancing imaging technologies that extend life, help cure diseases, and fuel innovation in materials and manufacturing. I believe that by making the invisible visible, we unlock new possibilities for science and industry to solve pressing challenges. At Bruker, I lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams focused on turning complex imaging problems into accessible, reliable technologies. I combine deep technical expertise with people-centered leadership - cultivating collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to impactful innovation.
